Last market

It’s hard to believe that this Saturday will be our last farmers market of the 2018 season. It honestly doesn’t feel like that long ago that we were preparing for our first market (pictured above). Reaching the end of our market season is both a sad and happy benchmark for us. We will miss seeing all of our wonderful customers at the market for the next several months, but are also looking forward to a much needed break (and to a few months of getting to sleep in past four in the morning on Saturdays!) The farm is certainly starting to look like the season is at an end, with most of the outdoor beds either mulched, tarped, or cover cropped and many of the beds in the hoop house already cleared out as well. Even as this season ends, however, we’re already looking forward to next year. With outside work lessening, I’m filling up the “free” time with setting up the crop plan and seed order for 2019.

This week at the market, make sure to pick up some final bags of greens, worry-free romaine lettuce, and maybe even a few baby radishes! We want to thank all of you for a wonderful first season. We have appreciated your support more than we can say and have enjoyed our time with each and every one of you! Please stay in touch over the winter. I will still be updating the blog once or twice a month. And we look forward to seeing you all again next spring!

You guys are the best farmers ever! Everyone is so proud of the work you’ve done & the incredible produce you’ve
produced. I hope you enjoy every minute of your “down” time. Think of all the infra structure you don’t have to
do this winter. Wow! Making it through the first year is such a major accomplishment. I hope you know how awesome
    that is. Congratulations!
